Ads Settings

Configure Google AdSense to monetize your blog with display advertisements.

Overview

Ads settings let you integrate Google AdSense with your blog. Once configured, ads will display on your pages and you'll earn revenue when visitors view or click them.

Where to find it

Navigate to Settings → Ads in your dashboard.

Publisher ID

Your AdSense Publisher ID uniquely identifies your account. It looks likepub-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX.

Enter your AdSense Publisher ID

Find this in your AdSense account under Account → Account information.

Go to Google AdSense

Visit adsense.google.com and sign in.

Open Account settings

Click your profile icon and go to "Account".

Find Account information

Your Publisher ID is displayed under "Account information".

Copy and paste

Copy the full ID (including "pub-") and paste it in Postlyo.

Auto Ads

Inserted within article content after a configurable number of paragraphs.

Ad Slot Configuration

Enter the ad slot ID for each position

Ads.txt

Ads.txt is a file that declares which ad networks are authorized to sell ads on your site. It helps prevent ad fraud and is required by AdSense.

Automatic setup

When you add your Publisher ID, the ads.txt file is automatically generated and hosted at yourdomain.com/ads.txt.

AdSense Requirements

Before you can display ads, your site must meet Google's requirements:

Original content

Your blog must have unique, high-quality content that you own.

Sufficient content

Have at least 15-20 quality posts before applying.

Required pages

Must have Privacy Policy, About, and Contact pages.

Traffic

Your site should have some organic traffic, though there's no minimum.

Approval process

AdSense approval can take 1-14 days. Make sure your site meets all requirements before applying to avoid delays.
