Auto Internal Linking

When you publish, Postlyo scans your content for mentions of other posts and automatically creates internal links. This improves SEO by connecting related content.

How it works:

  1. Postlyo fetches your published post titles
  2. Scans your content for mentions of other posts
  3. If no matches, looks for significant keywords from titles
  4. Inserts links to related posts automatically

More links = better SEO

Internal links help search engines understand your site structure and keep readers engaged. Postlyo does this automatically so you don't have to remember.

Post Status & Publishing

Posts have three statuses that control visibility. When you publish, Postlyo triggers all the automatic features: sitemap update, Google indexing, internal linking.

Draft

Private. Only visible to you and team members. No SEO actions triggered.

Published

Live on your blog. Sitemap updated, Google notified, internal links inserted.

Scheduled

Auto-publishes at scheduled time. Same automatic actions trigger on publish.

Working with Drafts

Drafts are private and don't trigger any SEO actions. Use them for work-in-progress content.

  • Save as Draft saves without publishing
  • Preview shows exactly how it will look when published
  • Auto-generated fields update as you edit (if untouched)
  • Click Publish when ready to go live

Version history

Postlyo keeps recent versions of each post. If you need to restore earlier content, check the version history.

Scheduling Posts

Schedule posts to publish automatically at a future date and time. Perfect for planning content in advance.

1
