Best Practices

Since Postlyo handles optimization, your job is simply to upload good source images:

📸 Upload originals, not thumbnails

Upload your full-resolution originals. Postlyo will resize appropriately. Pre-shrunk images may look blurry after processing.

🏷️ Add alt text for SEO

When adding images to posts, include descriptive alt text. This improves accessibility and helps search engines understand your content.

🖼️ Use SVG for logos

SVG logos stay crisp at any size and have tiny file sizes. Postlyo preserves SVGs without conversion.

🗑️ Clean up unused images

Use the type filters to find orphaned images. Delete unused ones to keep your library manageable.
